Delete Your MedSafeScan Account
This page explains what data is deleted, what may be retained, and the step-by-step deletion process.
⚠ This action is permanent
Deleting your account is irreversible. All your medication data, interaction history, and account information will be permanently removed. Before proceeding, we recommend exporting your interaction history (Premium users can use the in-app PDF export).
What gets deleted
- Your account credentials (email address, display name, authentication data)
- Your complete medication profile (prescriptions, OTC meds, supplements)
- All interaction check history and results
- Any medication label scan images saved to your profile
- App preferences and settings linked to your account
What may be retained
- Anonymized, aggregated analytics (not linked to your identity)
- Billing and subscription records retained by Google Play and RevenueCat per their policies
- Records required to be retained by applicable law or for legal proceedings
How to delete your account
Method 1: Delete directly in the app

Open the MedSafeScan app on your Android device

Tap the profile icon or go to the main menu

Select Settings

Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"

Read the confirmation message and tap "Confirm Delete"

Your account and all associated data will be deleted within 30 days
Method 2: Email deletion request
If you cannot access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, send a message to us from your registered email address with the subject line “Account Deletion Request.”

Deletion timeline
After initiating account deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days. During this period:
- Your account will be deactivated immediately
- You will not be charged for any future billing periods
- All personal data will be purged from our systems within 30 days
💡 Before you delete
If you have a Premium subscription, export your interaction history as a PDF before deleting your account. Go to History → Export as PDF in the app.
